The contract with the building company Constructora Analto S.A. is signed and a completion time of 12 months is stipulated. The plot levelling and cleanup are finished and the surveyors stake out the building.
July 2.009
The plots are fenced and the site board is placed. The Safety plan is approved and paid in full. The electrical company facilitates the connection. The "Acta de Trabajo" is signed and a bank guarantee is presented in the PTA to allow the excavation starts. The sidewalks are lowered to facilitate the entry of trucks and the installation of the electricity and water huts are finished. The excavation of the semibasement finishes and the surveyors proceed to stake out the pillars. Another ground levelling is done and the pile driver arrives.
August 2.009
The pile driving of the building finishes two weeks before the foreseeing date. A bigger site board(6 x 2 m) is placed. We include some images of the plot, as seeing from the west, and of the PTA lake, located close to MIT School, and that, curiously, still has greeny lawn. This lake is very important for MIT, because classes will be imparted in its lawn at least twice a week for all courses, from Foundation to High School. This lake is 5 minutes far from the School and no road crossing is needed.

The piles heads cleanup is finished and the hollows are refilled with concrete, preparing the surface to begin with the slab. The execution pace is very good and the slab is finished still in advance. Graded-aggregate, gravel and a polyurethane sheet are used for the landfill. A new 8 x 3 m site board with the MIT building's computer generated graphic is placed. The building structure begins.

The structure of the semi-basement and ground floor is completed. The entry columns, one of our signs of identity, are clearly visible.
November 2.009
The third slab finishes and the fourth begins. The entry columns are already finished.
December 2.009
The fourth slab finishes and, with it, the building's framework. Shoring is gradually retired.
January 2.010
The stair boxes are finished and flooring is started in some levels. The flooring of two levels is finished by the end of the month. The building enclosure and interior partition begin.
February 2.010
In spite of the bad weather, rainy almost every day, the front is almost completed. The internal partition advances at good pace even managing to form the first corridor at the semi-basement level, where all the laboratories are finished. It is possible to verify in the images that the natural lighting is excellent even at 18:15H, time when the photographies were taken. As a curiosity, we include some images of the MIT 's external publicity in urban buses.
March 2.010
The front is practically finished. Partitions on the semi-basement level are totally finished. Likewise, the right side is finished and the rear progresses at a good pace. The length of the semi-basement corridor is clearly visible.
April 2.010
Installation of the electrical system begins. The spectacular gymnasium cover is already finished. Wall plastering begins.
May 2.010
Wall plastering continues in the inside and begins in the outside. The installation of the rails in the large windows begins. Floor polishing and toilet tiling begin too.Firefighting hoses are placed and the elevator installation begins.The work progresses at a good pace and, according to the building company, the completion time will be fulfilled.
June 2.010
The installation of the technical ceiling and the molding of the main entrance stairs begin. Doors and windows are ready to be installed. On June 21 the building is 98% finished.
July 2.010
All labors of completion are being finalized. The carpentry and its varnishing is completed. Panes are placed on windows. All bathroom fittings and plumbing are installed. The painting is being finished. The main ramp for disabled people access is mounted.
August 2.010
The furniture of the classrooms is installed and the definitive cleaning starts. The construction of the sports courts continues and the gardens are planted. The installation of the digital interactive whiteboards and the whole IT infrastructure begins.
September 2.010
The doors of the School open and the course starts normally. The dream became true and now it is time to work hard.
