HanBan Examinations

The Confucius Institute, analogous to the Instituto Cervantes in Spain, organizes the only official Chinese Language Tests worldwide. So far, in our country, such exams just used to take place in Madrid and Granada, but, since 2012, Málaga, and in particular, MIT School, hosts the YTC (Youth Chinese Test, for primary and secondary students), HSK (Hanyu Shuiping Kaoski or Chinese Proficiency Test) and BCT tests. In this way, students across Spain will be able to take these important tests at the Centre, that usually take place around May-June.


These tests are intended to rate the Chinese language proficiency worldwide, as they officially certify its level and are required to have access to every Chinese academic institutions. The examination dates are held anually, and are announced via www.mitschool.com.
